My name is Ciya and I am a 4th year medical student. I offer tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Maths up to GCSE level and Biology up to A level.

I’ve always had a strong passion for the sciences, which led me to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths  at A-level. I received an A* in Biology and A’s in Chemistry and Maths. This helped me secure a place in medicine which strengthened my ability to break down complex topics.

I’ve previously tutored GCSE Biology students at my local school. This increased my experience in tutoring children from different abilities. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn from mistakes - something I think is vital for progress. 

As a medical student, I understand the pressure of exams and the importance of learning in a way that is sustainable and tailored to each individual. I like to use a mix of active recall, visual aids and regular exam questions to build up both understanding and exam technique over time.
