My name is Ciya and I am a 4th year medical student. I offer tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Maths up to GCSE level and Biology up to A level.

 

I’ve always had a strong passion for the sciences, which led me to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths  at A-level. I received an A* in Biology and A’s in Chemistry and Maths. This helped me secure a place in medicine which strengthened my ability to break down complex topics.

 

I’ve tutored GCSE Biology students at my local school as well as GCSE Physics and 11+ students. This increased my experience in tutoring children from different abilities. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn from mistakes - something I think is vital for progress. 

 

As a medical student, I understand the pressure of exams and the importance of learning in a way that is sustainable and tailored to each individual. I like to use a mix of active recall, visual aids and regular exam questions to build up both understanding and exam technique over time.
