Darja - Biology, Chemistry, Maths, SEN

I am an experienced and passionate tutor with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I hold a PhD in Molecular Biology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Genetics from Queen Mary University of London, providing students with expert subject knowledge and a deep understanding of the sciences.
My teaching experience includes working as a SEND Teaching Assistant and SEN Maths & Science Tutor, supporting KS3 and GCSE students across a range of abilities and learning needs. I tailor lessons to each student's learning style, helping them build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and achieve their academic goals. I have extensive experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and creating engaging, accessible learning environments.
Alongside my teaching, I spent over a decade in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, leading projects, delivering training programmes and presenting scientific research internationally. My research at Imperial College resulted in publications in leading scientific journals and presentations at international conferences.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. My lessons are patient, supportive and structured to make challenging concepts easy to understand. Whether preparing for GCSE examinations, strengthening core knowledge, or developing confidence in science and maths, I aim to inspire curiosity and help every student reach their full potential.
