Janelle - German, Chemistry, Biology
My son is really enjoying his German tutoring with Janelle, who is a very experienced and knowledgeable tutor. My son says Janelle is very approachable, patient and helpful, answering all of his questions. Janelle prepares lesson plans focusing on my son’s weaker areas and confirms his knowledge with questions and recapping. The lessons are effective, engaging and fun. Janelle prepares a lesson report after each lesson with helpful feedback and an idea of what areas to work on the following week. My son can’t wait for his next lesson. Thank you Janelle.

We are only on week three of tutoring with Janelle but already my son has learnt so much. Today he finished his lesson and told me he feels his German is so much better. Janelle prepares for the lesson, whilst taking into account my son’s areas of weakness and gives useful homework and feedback. My son reports he can see the difference in his German lessons in school with him feeling much more confident. I am a very happy parent.

I’m proud to currently be a third-year medical student at City St. George’s University of London after having survived the tough journey through GCSEs, UCAS applications and A-Levels! As I have tutored previously for students of all ages, as well as having had experience in tutoring for SEN students, I’m able to adapt to any of your academic goals. I am based in between Tooting and Wimbledon, and am open to both online and face-to-face tuition.
At school I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry and German at A-level, alongside top grades at GCSE across Sciences, Maths, English, Languages and Humanities. This broad foundation allows me to support students across a wide range of subjects and exam boards. My approach is always flexible, patient and encouraging, with lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
Beyond academics, I’ve worked as a Social Activity and Welfare Leader at Wimbledon School of English, where I was responsible for the care and engagement of over 200 international children. I also hold a Distinction in Grade 8 LAMDA Public Speaking, which has given me confidence in communication — something I aim to instil in my students too.
My goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment, helping students not only improve their subject knowledge but also build confidence in their abilities.
