After graduating with First Class Honours in Primary Education from Plymouth University, I spent several years as a primary school teacher, where I taught children in both countryside and London-based schools. During my teaching career, I developed strong expertise in delivering core subjects, including phonics, English and maths, with an emphasis on creating an engaging, supportive learning environment.

I currently offer tutoring in phonics, English and mathematics. My sessions are tailored to each child's unique needs, whether they’re preparing for SATs, phonics screenings, or just aiming to build confidence in their studies. I love creating enjoyable and motivating sessions that encourage students to embrace their learning journey and approach challenges with a positive mindset.

Throughout my career, I have taken pride in helping students gain essential skills and confidence, an approach inspired by my own passion for education. My experience in diverse classrooms and as a Computing curriculum leader has taught me how to adapt my teaching to suit various learning styles, bringing out the best in each child.

Based in South Wimbledon, I am available for both in-person and online tutoring sessions, holding a current, enhanced DBS check.

Fun fact: Outside of teaching, I’m a dedicated runner, recently achieving my goal of completing a half-marathon, and I find the mental focus and resilience it requires directly inspires my approach to tutoring—helping students persevere and reach their own milestones.
