Marianne - Science, Chemistry, Maths

My name is Marianne and I'm a penultimate year graduate-entry medical student at St George's. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated student with a proven track record of high academic achievement and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

I achieved 12.5 A*s at GCSE and A*A*ABa at A-Level before completing a master's degree in chemistry at the University of Oxford. After graduation, I gained extensive experience in teaching science through working for two years at a science education start-up. I recorded videos for the entire GCSE Chemistry course and prepared and delivered seminars for up to 200 A-Level Chemistry students at Imperial College, London. All of this experience makes me a confident and passionate science teacher for all ages. In addition, I love problem solving of all kinds and have previously really enjoyed teaching maths, especially working pre-GCSE on core concepts.

I'm based in Camberwell but happy to travel as I am enthusiastic about in-person teaching. Online also works well for me. Looking forward to hearing from you!
