I'm Megan and I'm a qualified primary school teacher specialising in Early Years education (up to age 8). I have many years' teaching experience both in the UK and in South Africa. 

 

I enjoy working with young children and really focussing on the ways they approach learning. I have developed a multitude of different resources to ensure I can address the individual needs of each child. I often use oracy in lessons, as it allows young learners to speak through their understanding and for me to spot and tackle any misconceptions.

I've always had a passion for working with children because during school I experienced my own struggles. If it were not for my teachers and tutors it would have been a lot harder. I really do understand how a personalised approach can transform learning and hope I can be that person for your child.

I am currently living in Wimbledon Park and working as a class teacher in Greenford, Ealing. I am available for in-person tutoring.

Fun Fact: I am a fully qualified safari guide and worked in the Greater Kruger National Park area in SAouth Africa for 18 months as a guide and assistant lodge manager! I'm also fluent in Afrikaans.
