Megan is a qualified primary school teacher specialising in Foundation Phase education (up to age 8). She has several years' early year, KS1 & KS2 teaching experience both in the UK and South Africa and is also a TEFL qualified teacher of English as a foreign language. A native English speaker, she is also fluent in Afrikaans.

 

In Megan's own words:

"I am a South African qualified primary school teacher; I am currently living in Wimbledon Park. I am working in as a class teacher in Greenford, Ealing. I am available for in person tutoring.

I have always had a passion for working with children as during school I had a few struggles. If it was not for my teachers and my tutors it would have been a lot harder. I hope I can be that person for your child in assistant reach their full potential.

I use a multitude of different resources that I have developed over the years. Ensuring that the tasks are addressing the needs of the learners while developing multiple skills at once. I use oracy in most of my lessons, for a learner to speak through their understanding not only allows them to structure their understanding but allow me to address misconceptions.

Fun Fact: I am a fully qualified safari guide and worked in the Greater Kruger National Park area for 18 months as a guide and assistant lodge manager."
