I am an experienced English tutor with over two decades of teaching and tutoring experience across primary, secondary, and further education. Over the years I have held Senior Leadership English roles at a variety of educational establishments.

In my lessons, I cover all aspects of English Literature and Language - everything from spelling and grammar to critical literature analysis. The lessons can be adapted to focus on each student's particular strengths and areas needing support.

In addition to teaching core literacy and exam skills, I place equal importance on building resilience, self-belief, and motivation. By working closely with families and schools, I provide consistent, supportive tuition that helps students feel understood, capable, and able to achieve beyond expectations.

I am also a specialist in teaching students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and related learning differences. I believe that no student should be left behind by a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I tailor lessons carefully to suit each learner’s pace, goals, and preferred style, ensuring progress in both skills and confidence.
