Zubayr - Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics
"Zubayr responded to my request of looking for a tutor very quickly. Zubayr tutored my son who had lost confidence with his GCSE sciences, Zubayr was very good at supporting my son to regain his confidence and increase his knowledge and skills. My son enjoyed being taught by Zubayr, his approach and techniques worked well, he has a fantastic manner of engaging and he is relatable.
I found Zubayr to be punctual , reliable, honest and thoroughly prepared for each lesson.
I have recommended Zubayr to my friends and he was recommended to me. We cannot thank Zubayr enough as he supported my son to pass his GCSE sciences and my son improved massively and supervised himself with his GCSE grades. The whole experience was positive."
"Zubayr is one of the most reliable tutor I have ever come across. His teaching style is so good that it has given me so much confidence in my science subjects. He is very organised and punctual. I would highly recommend Zubayr to my friends and family."
"I had Zubayr as my medical school interview tutor at the beginning of this year, and thanks to his amazing teaching techniques and his immense knowledge in the field I was able to get both the offers I had an interview for."
"Without his help I wouldn’t have been anywhere near the level I needed to be at, and more importantly he helped improve my confidence tremendously and gave countless tips which secured me the offers I wanted. I was very comfortable to ask any questions when with Zubayr and I learnt so much thanks to his well structured and planned lessons."
I am currently a 5th year medical student at St. George’s University of London. I have been teaching various levels of education for over 8 years now. I truly have found a passion and a job I thoroughly enjoy.
I very much enjoy the pastoral role of being a tutor, sharing with my students ways in which they can be more motivated, how to deal with the pressures of important exams and also lifestyle choices they can make to improve their chances of success. Being a young tutor and recently going through the exams and university application process, I strongly relate to all my students and I often find myself being a mentor to my students, guiding them along a process I have successfully been through. Over recent years, I have over 1000 hours of teaching experience, teaching science and maths up to a level as well as coaching people through the medicine and dentistry application process.
Similarly to my choices of studying medicine, i seek work which gives me satisfaction and allows me to build a rapport with individuals. I see tutoring as a platform to help you fulfil your potential in whatever subject and as a means of developing your identity as a successful student.
My style of teaching is very much adapted to the need of the student at any given time. I like to focus on building a strong foundation in the understanding of subject knowledge and place huge emphasis on improving a student`s ability to answer exam style questions and over time develop their competency with regards to their exam technique. I like to attempt whole exam papers with students closer to exam time to best equip them with the skills needed to ace their exams
